  • When I was a kid I wanted to be an actress.

Or an archaeologist. Later, in university, my philosophy professor once asked, “Where the hell did you learn to write like that?” I figured that meant I was pretty good at forming cohesive sentences. The remark stuck with me and my career path took shape.

Some might say I’ve had an eclectic past. I’ve worked for Internet start-ups, upstart activists and pseudo-government organizations. But the constant has always been a position that included a significant amount of writing. Back in 2000, I began moonlighting as a freelance copywriter and marketing communications specialist. I liked it so much I decided to pursue it full-time.

Since then, I’ve helped countless organizations build and grow their businesses through powerful brand strategies and targeted copywriting. My portfolio includes e-business consulting for small business, NPO resource development and work as a marcomm director. I have agency and in-house experience, and I’ve been published in print and online.
