The Justice Education Society of BC was contracted by the Department of Justice Canada to pioneer the development a set of pilot websites for victims and witnesses of crime. I was hired by Justice Ed to manage the lifecycle of this high-profile, .5 million dollar project.
Victimsinfo.ca is a government endorsed information resource for victims and witnesses of crime. It was developed for a variety of users including marginalized groups, seniors and the hearing impaired.
Victimsinfo.ca was recently purchased by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General of British Columbia, Canada for VictimLink, British Columbia’s telephone referral agency for victims. It will become VictimLink’s face on the web and primary information resource.
